    Chapter Twenty Two

We now come to the conclusion of the Book of the Revelation of Y'shua the Anointed.

Revelation 22:1 He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
22:2 From the midst of its broad way, on this side of the river and on the other, was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

The Holy Bible, from Genesis to the Revelation of Y'shua, is the story of Paradise lost to Paradise restored. These verses return us to point where it all began:

Genesis 2:9 Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the middle of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2:10 A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became four heads.

This is the same Tree of Life we see here in chapter 22 of the Revelation.

This pure river is that very fountainhead in Eden from which would have flowed -- according to God's original Plan -- living waters to the gradually expanding Garden of Eden until it would have covered the whole Earth. Now the rivers flow outward and the entire world has become like Eden.

Genesis 3:22 Yahweh God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now he must be prevented from reaching out his hand and taking from the tree of life, otherwise he will take and eat and thus live forever!" 3:23 Therefore Yahweh God banished him from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken. 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed Cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Humanity chose to join Lucifer's rebellion against HaShem and so God's Plan for the Earth was put on hold for the duration of the trial (as we have discussed previously).

Now, as we saw in in the previous chapter, that trial is over and the verdict has been rendered:

Revelation 21:6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alef and the Tav, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to all who are thirsty from the well of the water of life.

Humanity is now being allowed to drink freely from the Waters and the Tree of Life. Having done so, we "will take and eat and thus live forever!"

I Corinthians 15:54 But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen:
"Death is swallowed up in victory."
15:55 "Death, where is your sting?
      Sheol, where is your victory?"

It will be like the Fall never happened:

22:3 There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him.
22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

Recall the following experience of the righteous man Moses at Sinai:

Exodus 33:17 Yahweh said to Moses, "I will do this thing also that you have spoken; for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name."
33:18 He said, "Please show me your glory."
33:19 He said, "I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of Yahweh before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy."
33:20 He said, "You cannot see my face, for man may not see me and live."
33:21 Yahweh also said, "Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock. 33:22 It will happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand until I have passed by; 33:23 then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back side; but my face shall not be seen."

Now however, once the curse is lifted, following the Second Resurrection, the liberated and transfigured people of the Earth "... will see his face..."!

22:5 There will be no night there, and they need no lamp nor even the light of the sun by which to see; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.
22:6 He said to me, "These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show to his servants the things which must happen soon."

Soon is a relative term! For God a thousand years is as a day.

22:7 "Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

Throughout this study I have referred to "the Moshiach" rather than identifying Y'shua as "Y'shua HaMoshiach" (Y'shua the Messiah). I have done this for accuracy and clarity. Despite what most Nicean Christians believe, Moshiach has not yet come. Master Y'shua has come but not as Moshiach. Therefore while it is accurate to refer to "the Second Coming of Y'shua" it is not accurate to refer to "the Second Coming of Moshiach" (nor to the Second Coming of Christ).

This is more than mere semantics.

Nowhere does the Hebrew Bible or its prophets speak of "two comings of the Messiah" and we want our doctrines to be harmonious with the Scriptures.

Jews, Noahides and others are completely accurate when they point out that Moshiach has not yet come and that Y'shua was not the Moshiach. As discussed previously no one, including our Master, has thus far fulfilled the essential Messianic prophecies. Most of the lists one finds delineating the Messianic prophecies Y'shua supposedly fulfilled are citing verses that were never intended to be messianic prophecies in the first place. The essential biblical Messianic prophecies still remain unfulfilled.

To say Y'shua is the Moshiach is therefore biblically and prophetically inaccurate.

To say Y'shua will be the Moshiach is a matter of faith and one that I personally share.

This is an important distinction: Had Moshiach come 2000 years ago we would all be living in Paradise now.

Y'shua did not take birth 2000 years ago to be Moshiach. He came to call the Jewish people back to the Written Torah and its God first and foremost. Secondly he came to lay the foundation for the Noahide Nazarene Way that would exist until the end of the Times of the Gentiles as we have discussed earlier in this study.

This verse is one of the few places in the New Testament where his role as the coming Moshiach is directly stated.

Understand that those Jews and others who will be serving Moshiach as he begins to open the Seven Seals and afterward during his thousand year reign will not be converting to Nicean Christianity, nor will they be 'accepting Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.' By that point Christianity will have become Babylon the Great and God's people will have fled it along with its non-biblical teachings. Rather, the 144,000 Jews, the Two Witnesses, the Great Multitude of all nations and cultures will be embracing their divinely appointed and anointed Supreme General and King as they submit to the One God he has loyally served since the beginning.

Also, Moshiach will 'have a Name written that no one yet knows':

Revelation 19:11 I saw the vault of heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war. 19:12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written which no one knows but he himself.

AND remember that the REAL Moshiach will not arise until after the Rex Mundi is revealed. So if anyone claims to be Moshiach before that point know for a certainty that that person is either lying to you or is deluded.

22:8 Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. After hearing and seeing these things I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. 22:9 However he said to me, "Look, don't do that! I am one of your fellow servants and of your brothers, the prophets, and one of those who keep the words of this book: Worship God." 22:10 Then he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
22:11 Those who are unjust will still act unjustly; those who are morally defiled will be filthy still. Those who are righteous will do acts of righteousness still and those who are holy, will be holy still."

With these words John leaves it in our hands. Do as you wish with this information, he is saying. Serve HaShem or serve Lucifer. Accept Rex Mundi or stand against him. Its our decision to make. He has given us the facts as they were revealed to him.

But whatever anyone believes, these things are -- right before our eyes -- coming to pass.

Now Master Y'shua himself gives this stern warning and declares that he will serve HaShem as Moshiach when the time comes. Y'shua the Anointed says:

22:12 "Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.
22:13 I am the Alef and the Tav, the Origin and the Conclusion, the Beginning and the End.

Watch this transition closely to see the heart and humility of our Master: I (Y'shua) am coming quickly he says. Then he continues:

22:14 Blessed are all who keep his commandments so that they may have the liberty to take from the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.

Master Y'shua pronounces his blessings on all who obey "his" (i.e. God's) commandments. Of all those who do not he continues:

22:15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the fornicators, the murderers, the worshipers of false gods, and all those who love and practice falsehoods. 22:16 I, Y'shua, have sent my angel to testify about these things to you before the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star."

By pronouncing that he is "the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star" he is proclaiming that he will be Moshiach.

There is also a very stern warning here that is easily missed. He said: "I, Y'shua, have sent my angel to testify about these things to you before the assemblies." Before the assemblies translates as against the assemblies as in an accusation or stern pronouncement to them. The assemblies are the local congregations or churches but the Master here is referring to his message to the Seven Assemblies in chapters two and three, and especially to those of us living in the final Laodecian age. He returns to this theme now at the close of the prophecy and his warning is clear:

Revelation 3:18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. 3:19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent. 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. 3:21 He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. 3:22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies."

The Church of our day is even now being vomited out of his mouth and severed from the Tree of Israel (Romans 11). We must all decide individually with whom we will stand now that the Rex Mundi and his False Prophet are drawing close!

22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" Let all who hear say, "Come!" Let all who thirst to come. Let whosoever wishes drink of the water of life freely.
22:18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone adds to these words, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book. 22:19 And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the book of life, and from the holy city, which are written of in this book.
22:20 He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly."

      Amen! Yes, come, Master Y'shua.

22:21 May the grace of our Master, Y'shua the Anointed, be with you all. Amen.

    "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance (II Pet 3:9)
