The Opening of the Seven Sealed Scrolls

There is very little in this Revelation that we have not seen before in the earlier prophets, especially Daniel. The Book of the Revelation however ties all the other prophecies together and establishes how the final fulfillment will happen and how the Kingdom will be established. It is therefore essential reading for those seeking to understand the prophecies. The following reference to one of Daniel's prophecies will help us place the Seven Seals and the Four Horsemen in their proper biblical context:

Daniel 7:2 Daniel spoke and said, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the sky broke forth on the great sea.

The four winds striving upon the great sea refers to the same influences referenced as the Four Horsemen at Zechariah 6:2-5 and Revelation 6:1-8. These are:

• White Horse: False prophets, deception, religious hypocrisy
• Red Horse: War and social unrest
• Black Horse: Famine
• Pale (or Grizzled) Horse: Death

The Great Sea refers to the sea of humanity. This is confirmed at places like Isaiah 60:5, Matthew 13:47, Revelation 4:6 (as the sea of glass) and so on.

These four powerful influences are like uncontrollable winds that blow wherever they wish. They are likened mighty war horses that charge ever onward. These destructive influences have been the bane of mankind since the beginning of the age. It is of such powerful forces that we read:

I John 2:18 Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Anti-Christ is coming, even now many anti-Christs have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.

These forces have present in the world since the beginning of the Age, but now they will appear in their ultimate forms!

In his End Time prophecies found in Matthew 24 Prophet Y'shua speaks of the increase in these conditions as the world approaches the end of the age. Today they are seemingly out of control!

As stated before in this study, this Revelation is a continuation and clarification of Daniel's prophecy.

The Opening of the First Sealed Scroll: The White Horse: Rex Mundi

6:1 I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, "Come and see!" 6:2 And behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came forth conquering, and to conquer.

In chapter five we saw the appearance of the Moshiach. It is he who is opening these seven sealed scrolls. Therefore it is obvious that this figure seated on the white horse is not the Moshiach but is an imposture!

This man is the coming Rex Mundi ("Global Ruler") or Antichrist, the Son of Perdition.

As we will see as we continue, the Rex Mundi will first appear as "an angel of light" so to speak. He will seem like a great humanitarian, a wonder man and peace bringer! The entire world will praise him as he rides onto to the world stage as a daring knight astride a white horse! This is why and how he will deceive the masses:

II Thessalonians 2:1 Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Master Y'shua the Anointed, and our gathering together to him, we ask you 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.
2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come until the falling away come first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 2:4 he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
2:5 Don't you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
2:6 Now you know what is hindering him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way. 2:8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming; 2:9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2:10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 Because of this, God will send strong delusions that they should believe a lie; 2:12 that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness.

The masses will believe the lie that this New World Order Elitist is a righteous savior, however as Paul warns:

I Thessalonians 5:3 For when they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.

Here then we see the rise of the Rex Mundi (Antichrist) upon a white horse. Note that he will not arise until after God "vomits out" the Laodecian Church (Rev.3:14-19). Until that happens the Rex Mundi still has not come.

Be aware however that it may not be entirely obvious to everyone when this "vomiting out" (Rev. 3:14-19) is complete. It is obvious however that this process has already begun! We now have a large percentage of Nicean Christian churches that have become so "liberal" and eclectic that Y'shua and HaShem might as well be mythical figures to them! AND we have countless "conservative" churches that have become little more than judgmental, hate filled dens of hypocrisy, focusing more on excluding people and celebrating their own supposed righteousness than anything else! Indeed it is very difficult to find a Spirit-filled assembly of sincere and loving people who invite "whosoever will" to come. BOTH types of churches are now common place and surely BOTH are being "vomited out" even now.

As this process continues towards the final ichabod state (the point at which God will finally abandon the Nicolaitane, Nicean Church completely) it may be difficult to determine its completion. Likewise we expect a somewhat gradual embrace of the Rex Mundi as the Second Coming by Nicean Christians. Some will doubtless embrace him quickly while others will hold back for a while. But at some point the majority of Church and the majority of Nicean Christians will embrace the Rex Mundi and his False Prophet under the banner of the Universal Church. As this happens all true Believers need to heed this warning:

Revelation 18:4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don't receive of her plagues, 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 18:6 Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.

Is your congregation still in "the Body of Christ?" It is vital to determine this and to act accordingly! There will be more on this topic in later chapters!

For now understand that the appearance of the Antichrist or Rex Mundi on the world stage will signify the opening of the First Sealed Scroll. Note too that the first six of the seven scrolls are opened at about the same time. Therefore as we see these things happening know that all six will soon follow.

The Opening of the Second Sealed Scroll: The Red Horse: War!

6:3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come!"
6:4 Another came forth, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.

Rex Mundi (astride his "white horse" as peace bringer) will arise during a time of global warfare and slaughter.

While the prophecies do not directly confirm this next point regarding the United States, the complete absence of the U.S. from any biblical prophecy coupled with the stated presence of global political chaos as the Second Seal is opened, and what we see happening in the world today, leads many of us to conclude that it will be the collapse of the United States that will produce the chaos into the which Rex Mundi will arise. This is not an arbitrary belief. There exists a global organization known as Club Bilderberg that wields tremendous power and has its own agenda. This information is not specifically covered in the prophecy of the Book of Revelation however what they are doing is completely harmonious with what is presented. Through such cabals the Antichrist (Rex Mundi) will use brute force of arms as well as conciliatory words of peace to cause treaties to be signed and ratified among the various warring factions. In this way he will finalize the Novus Ordo Seclorum (the New Order of the Ages) that the Globalists have been developing for so many years. This will be the total usurpation of Global Fascism under his absolute authority. As Paul tells us:

II Thessalonians 2:1 Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Master Y'shua the Anointed, and our gathering together to him, we ask you 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.
2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come until the falling away come first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 2:4 he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
2:5 Don't you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?

This "falling away" refers to the Laodecian Church period discussed previously (Rev. 3:14-19). Despite the optimistic teachings of those who speak of an end time revival, John tells us plainly that such an End Time Revival is not going to happen. As taught in the presentation of the Seven Churches, the Church became more and more separated from HaShem and is, even now, being "vomited out." The Church is now suffering its final decline. The next major step will be its embrace of Rex Mundi as the "Second Coming of Jesus."

In his previous letter to the same people Paul had explained:

I Thessalonians 5:3 For when they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.

This is referring to his claim, made roughly three and a half years after he signs his treaty with Israel, that he has established global peace. And so the Man of Sin, Rex Mundi, will come to power seemingly establishing world peace during a time of global war, famine, disease and chaos. Once that peace is established the most turbulent period in world history will begin as we will see as we continue with this study.

The Opening of the Third Sealed Scroll: The Black Horse: Famine!

6:5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come and see!" And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a set of scales in his hand. 6:6 I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A measure [choenix] of wheat for a denarius, and three measures [choenix] of barley for a denarius! Don't damage the oil and the wine!"

Due to the ongoing wars and social upheaval taking place around the globe the price of food and other staples will be extreme. These critical shortages will cause the world to seek aid from the world government. In the name of fighting starvation the UN and other global authorities will take possession of and ration everything essential to survival. Those who receive these staples will praise the world government and its leader for saving their lives. Poor and starving people and countries will willingly submit themselves to the New World Order in exchange for food rations and other necessities. Due to his "humanitarian efforts" the Rex Mundi will increase his global authority.

The Opening of the Fourth Sealed Scroll: The Pale Horse: Death!

6:7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, "Come and see!"
6:8 And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hades [Sheol: the grave] followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.

The Bavarian Illuminati and the Merovingian Elite who rule this earth by the power and authority of Lucifer (II Corinthians 4:4) have made their intention to reduce the Earth's population by 80-90% completely clear in many venues. One of countless examples of this is literally set in stone: The Georgia Guidestones. The evidence of their plans to do this is overwhelming as I demonstrate elsewhere. As this fourth Sealed Scroll is opened the Elite manage to murder a full quarter of the human race through wars, pestilences and famine! Note that the situation will be so dire that even the wild animals that typically avoid humans will be hunting them for food!

The world will be absolutely rocked by chaos and death and amidst this global insanity one man will arise as Savior! This is the meaning of his being mounted upon a white horse! As his plans succeed, as the growing death tolls begin to subside, as people receive desperately needed sustenance and medical care... as peace is restored in country after country and as despots are overthrown... People around the globe will understandably turn to him with faith and love.

But those who rightly understand the prophecies will not!

This information matters!

The Opening of the Fifth Sealed Scroll: The Martyrs!

6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had. 6:10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"
6:11 A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.

There are always people asking if this or that politician might be the Antichrist. As Rex Mundi takes global center stage those who know the prophecies will not need to ask this question! His actions will make his identity crystal clear to those who still place their faith in HaShem and Y'shua His Anointed, and who understand the prophecies!

As Rex Mundi rises these people will be form into two distinct camps: Those will who stand against the Beast and those who will not. THIS is the foretold separating of the Sheep and the Goats (Matt 25:32). These will be the Bridesmaids who either did or did not keep their lamps filled with oil and the wicks suitably trimmed (Matt 25:1) because NOW the Darkness has arrived and comparatively few will stand against it (Matt. 17:14)!

Reason and common sense will cry out that this man is good and that opposing him is certain death! Just see! He rides a "white horse" in every sense of the symbolic expression! He is feeding and clothing the poor! He is establishing global peace and security! And have you not noticed that since he arose even the weather has been better! Only a fool... or a TERRORIST... would oppose him!

But many will stand against him in righteous defiance! As we will see shortly, a great multitude of Gentiles and 144,000 Jews will refuse to bend their knees before this Beast in Sheep's clothing...

And they will be like lambs to the slaughter! Most of them will not survive!

BUT remember Lucifer's challenge in the Book of Job that I talked about before! Lucifer charged that humans would only serve HaShem for a payoff! Now the martyrs will prove him to be a liar! What an honor to be numbered among these Saints!

This must be understood! The time for easy-believe-ism is past! There will not be a Rapture, but a Rupture is surely coming! Ready your hearts and minds for that Day because IT is coming! We are called to Stand not to escape.

Realize that whether people accept the Mark of the Beast or not, the vast majority of us on the planet are going to die during these seven years! That PROBABLY includes you! At MOST accepting the Mark may mean an additional couple of years of life, but at what price! And under what conditions! Human nature is to seek to survive but when this option is given willingly embracing death will be far far better in every way! Stand!

While some of those who refuse the Mark will survive the War, the vast majority of us will not. We must accept this as willing martyrs! We must never bow to the New World Order and its coming Rex Mundi! As the Master told us:

Mark 8:35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.

But how are we to Stand against awesome power?

GOD has already provided for this! Of THIS period Prophet Joel wrote:

Joel 2:27 You will know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am Yahweh, your God, and there is no one else; And my people will never again be put to shame.
28 "It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions.
29 And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days, I will pour out my Spirit.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood, fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes.
32 It will happen that whoever will call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved; For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, As Yahweh has said, And among the remnant, those whom Yahweh calls.

That this prophecy is for this soon-coming time is confirmed by the words: "And my people will never again be put to shame." There was a great putting to shame of the Jews in 70 CE when the Holy Temple fell and the Jews were exiled from their Home (Eretz Israel), but as we are now approaching the coming of Shiloh and the establishment of the Kingdom the Jews will never again be put to shame and Holy Jerusalem will never again be trodden underfoot by the nations (Luke 21:24)!

Further evidence is seen in the description of the the Moon appearing to turn to blood and so on. This will be described in just a moment (6:12).

So what does this mean in terms of this question: How shall we Stand? To those who witness the emergence of Rex Mundi and who choose to stand firm for the faith 'once and for all times delivered unto the saints,' HaShem promises guidance! As John the Revelator said elsewhere:

I John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

By this point the Nicean Church will have become the Universal Church (of Rex Mundi)! We will not be able to trust our former teachers and priests. Now GOD Himself will instruct us! Ruach ha Kodesh, the Spirit of the Living God will speak to us and say, Go here! Do this! Do not do that! We will have dreams and visions and know things we logically should not be privy to! And those with faith in HaShem will obey without question.

Again,

Mark 8:35 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.

TRUST and OBEY the Voice of HaShem and He will lead you! Perhaps to the lion's den or perhaps to palaces of gold!

Trust and Obey

Perhaps in His service we will live and survive the Great Tribulation and perhaps we will die, but as the Holy Apostle says:

Philippians 1:18 What does it matter [if we live or die]? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed. I rejoice in this, yes, and will rejoice. 1:19 For I know that this will turn out to my salvation, through your supplication and the supply of the Spirit of Y'shua the Anointed, 1:20 according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will in no way be disappointed, but with all boldness, as always, now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death.
1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
1:22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will bring fruit from my work; yet I don't know what I will choose. 1:23 I am in a dilemma between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 1:24 Yet, to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake. 1:25 Having this confidence, I know that I will remain, yes, and remain with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, 1:26 that your rejoicing may abound in Y'shua the Anointed in me through my presence with you again.

How many faithful people will be martyred during this period we are not told, however surely it will be in the hundreds of thousands at least -- God alone knows -- we are all in His hands. Shiloh, the Moshiach -- who is revealing this information -- is assuring those who die that their lives will be avenged, but that they must be patient for a while longer. As we will discuss later, once Rex Mundi signs a specific peace treaty with Israel the coming of Moshiach will be just under seven years thence and so that will be the maximum time required for their patience.

The Opening of the Sixth Sealed Scroll: Anarchy and the Wrath of HaShem Revealed!

6:12 I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood.
6:13 The stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.
6:14 The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
6:15 The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.
6:16 They told the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,
6:17 For the great day of his wrath has come; and who is able to stand?"

But they were premature!

As Y'shua the Anointed tells us of these events:

Matthew 24:8 ... All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Those who will stand with HaShem have now made their decisions for the most part. People occasionally write me concerned that they may have committed the "unpardonable sin." because of this I want to stress that IF YOU WANT TO REPENT God WILL accept your repentance! IF YOU WANT TO REPENT you have NOT committed the unpardonable sin!

The same is true here. By this point most people will have decided their stand. Those who are prepared for martrydom will remain firm. Those who will follow Rex Mundi will, for the most part, have decided by this point (i.e this seal). BUT if, even at the end of the Seven Years you wish to turn to HaShem in faith, Turn! Repent!

But understand this as well...

II Thessalonians 2:11 Because of this, God will send strong delusions that they should believe a lie; 2:12 that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness....

As these events unfold it will become less and less likely that those who have yet to make up their minds will turn to God. So, seek God while He may be found!

Isaiah 55:6 Seek Yahweh while he may be found; call you on him while he is near: 55:7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

And now HaShem will make His presence known to everyone as Moshiach takes up the scepter and leads his armies!

We can not be certain from the text precisely how far into the first three and half years of the tribulation we are at this point, but certainly we are still within the first half of the final Seven Years of the Age. Some prophecy students place this sixth seal towards the end of the Tribulation, pointing out that the more extreme events are reserved for the second half. While I respect their views I believe it belongs to the first period as I present here. Time will tell.

Thus far Rex Mundi has been allowed a more or less free hand to organize his rule but now the world is reminded that all must bow before the absolute majesty and power of HaShem and His Moshiach!

Its worth noting in passing that it has been theorized by some that the events described here could be the result of the massive solar storm NASA has been predicting for quite a while. According to the NASA scientists this event could well cause a "perfect storm" somewhere around 2012 that could devastate the planet -- they could be a few years off either way. Others point to the 2012 Prophecies of the Mayans, the I-Ching, etc. The biblical prophets do not specifically point to 2012 or any date (other than either 1947 of 1968 as discussed before). It COULD be that these "other sheep" (John 10:16) as well as secular scientists have received such prophetic notice. Who can say? However certainly all things work together for HaShem's Will and He will utilize whatever He chooses! At the point I am writing this, 2009, 2012 is still future. We will see what we will see. Regardless of these things, to God be the glory!

Despite this terrible and terrifying show of HaShem's power those who have chosen against Him still will not repent nor seek His Mercy! They merely hide in fear of what comes next!

The battle lines are now drawn!
