Conclusion:
We pray to HaShem, the Holy One of Israel, to fill our hearts with wisdom and understanding as we continue this study into the Revelation of our chief rabbi, Navi Y'shua
The Seven Periods of the Messianic Jewish Community Continued
The Period of the Laodiceans:
As we discussed last time, while most people still claimed to believe in "God," as the twentieth century drew to close it was clear that "the love of the many was quickly growing cold" as Rebbe Y'shua foretold at Matthew 24:12. As we move ever closer to the end of the of the Times of the Goyim (Gentiles – Luke 21:24) Prophet Y'shua's warning to those living during the Laodicean period becomes both more relevant and more ignored.
We read the first part of this warning last time. Let's read it again and this time we'll continue reading to discover our Rebbe's solution to this spiritual enemia:
KJV: Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:And here's the Way of Liberation. Here's the path to freedom. Here's the Way of Peace:
KJV: Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.Y'shua the Anointed of HaShem, who is revealing these things through Talmid Yochanan (John his beloved disciple), says that due to the rampant lack of faith and hypocrisy within this final prophetic period HaShem is going to "vomit" these Laodiceans and their hierarchical Nicolaitan structures from His mouth! This is HaShem's righteous determination to which we can only say Omayn (Amen).
As was revealed to Prophet Daniel:
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.Indeed the people of our little planet have run and fro and increased in knowledge as never before. Since the beginning of the Laodicean period circa 1913 information and knowledge has exploded. With the advent of modern technologies and archeology, with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and related finds, with our increased knowledge of ancient cultures and customs, with near universal education in the West, with the information of the ages at our fingertips... there is no excuse for not rightly understanding the Word of Truth! All who truly wish may now rediscover the Hebraic Roots of Rebbe Y'shua and the form Judaism he espoused.
Heresies that were once considered debatable and now seen as demonstratively anti-Torah. Faith is still required, but clear facts and proofs have never been so readily nor easily accessible to the masses.
Exactly as Prophet Daniel revealed.
Those who still embrace the Nicene Nicolaitan heresies do so either because they prefer them to biblical truth or because they lack the interest to read the Bible and discover the truth for themselves.
As our High Priest before HaShem it will be the responsibility of Cohen Gadol Y'shua to carry out El Gibbor's ("God the Mighty") judgment! How Rebbe Y'shua lamented over the same sins of his people that led to the destruction of the Holy Jerusalem Temple in 70 CE (Matthew 23). Now again how sorrowful he must feel at the casting away of the Messianic Movement he gave birth to!
By the Will of the One True God the High Priest who stands before HaShem in our defense will therefore declare the Church to be completely apostate and beyond redemption! At that moment the spirit of Ichabod (Hebrew:? ingloriousness) will descend and the Ruach of HaShem (Adonai's Spirit Presence) will be pulled from Christendom completely. At that time a voice will be heard from the Throne of HaShem:
KJV Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.What a powerful, all-consuming condemnation this is!
What a powerful, all-consuming command this is!
While we may literally hear this command, many things formally hidden will be made manifest during this period.
This day is fast approaching! As we observe the various heresies and abuses being committed in the name Christianity, as we witness the continuing rise of Chrislam (the merging of Christianity and Islam), as we continue to hear Christian leaders deny the authority and claims of the Bible, as the Christian world unites ever more completely with Secular Humanism... those who have ears to ears are hearing this Voice!
This is one reason why so many people today are abandoning Christianity and seeking the true Hebraic roots of Rebbe Y'shua and authentic Messianic Judaism. And yet today as always there are deceivers seeking to mislead the people and direct them back into the Nicene Mysteries. NO Jew, Messianic or not, would ever embrace the Nicene doctrines of the Christian Church. Adonai is our God and Adonai is One! Authentic Messianic Judaism is strictly monotheistic by definition.
While there remains within the Laodicean Church today innumerable sincere Believers, the Church itself is even now being rejected by God and Cohen Gadol Y'shua!
Again: (Revelation 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
That door is the door the authentic Messianic Judaism. It is the Way of right understanding and of embracing the Jewish teachings of our Rebbe.
The Apostle and Prophet Paul shares vital understanding about this topic in the eleventh chapter of his Letter to the Romans. All who wish to have fellowship with Rebbe Y'shua and avoid being "vomited out" into into the coming Tribulation period need to invest the time to understand this important message! Prophecy is not only about future events, its also about being preparing for those events!
KJV Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew....First, understand that People Israel remain, as they have been since the days of Avraham avinu, the Chosen People of HaShem. Were this not so, Paul argues, then our reliance on Y'shua the Anointed would have no basis!
Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.Had HaShem rejected the "root of the Tree" then the "branches" that have been grafted onto it would have no standing with God either! Replacement Theology is an heretical assault on both God and humanity! Without Israel there is no redemption (John 4:22)! Nicean Christians betray Israel to their our peril! Such Nicolaitans are as a man standing high above the ground precariously balanced on the limb of a tree and who foolishly severs the limb from the tree! Their fall is inevitable.
In the following important section Rav Paul references the coming Kingdom of HaShem using the analogy of Israel as the Tree of God (referencing one of Daniel's important prophecies: Daniel 4:). This analogy has a long and honored biblical basis as we discuss in later lessons. We can not understand the role of the Way of Peace (or the Church) without first understanding this information.
So, take a break if you need to, grab a snack, and then come back and read this carefully. It is absolutely essential to understand if you hope to understand what is to befall the earth as we continue with Romans 11.
Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.Remember this phrase: "...Until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." We'll look into this in more detail below, but first let's finish reading this section.
Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.Again, "...Until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."
This "fulness of the Gentiles" is that period of time referenced by Rebbe Y'shua in the following verse:
Luke 21:24 And they [the Jewish people] shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations [i.e. the Diaspora]: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."The Times of the Goyim" or Gentiles will end just shy of seven years after the Nicolaitans are "vomited" out of God's mouth once and for all. As this takes place the events of the final seven year tribulation period will commence, leading the Jewish people to embrace their destiny as a nation of kings and priests (Exodus 19:6).
For this to happen several significant biblical prophecies will have to be fulfilled. Of these, Rabbi Moses ben Maimon, better known as Maimonides and Rambam, lists the following conditions under which Moshiach will come. The events of the final seven years will bring these conditions into being as we will see as we continue:
- If Israel repents a single day;
- If Israel observed a single Shabbat properly;
- If Israel observed two Shabbats in a row properly;
- In a generation that is totally innocent or totally guilty;
- In a generation that loses all hope;
- In a generation where children are totally disrespectful towards their parents and elders;
In such a generation Moshiach will come.
As the events we will be discussing in this series of lessons occurs, the Jewish people will do teshuvah or engage in repentance. The Hebrew word teshuvah translates as "returning." We understand from this that as the Jewish people, devoid of all other hope, return to HaShem from Whom their hope comes, He will accept them and protect and lift them up in glory. Exactly as the holy prophets foretell.
But first, the groundwork must be laid for our communal teshuvah. Difficult days lie ahead and through them the Jewish people will at last come to understand that their only hope for survival rests in HaShem alone.
Once this realization occurs Moshiach (Messiah) will come and establish the Kingdom of HaShem as promised but not before all hope appears to be lost:
Mathew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake [i.e. to rescue the Jewish people] those days shall be shortened.At that point HaShem's Will "will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven" (Matthew 6:10).
As the Laodicean Church is "vomited" out into the Tribulation Period, as these diseased branches are severed from the Tree of Israel and cast into the fire, the Nicolaitan Papacy and her denominational daughters will become Babylon the Great as we will discuss later in this study. Its all plainly written in the Word of Truth.
There will be no Rapture.
There will be no End Time Great Harvest.
There will be no "Latter Day Rains" as intended by this term.
There is a key understanding here that we don't to want to miss:
Since its inception, the Roman Papacy and most Christian denominations that have emerged from it have pointed derisively to Israel's short comings. They have cited these as the reason why God turned to the Goyim. Based on this idea they have advocated, in various ways, Replacement Theologies, heresies maintaining that the Goyish Church (or some segment of it) has replaced Israel as the Apple of HaShem's eye. Through now established facts of the Seven Church periods however the fallacy of this claim has been clearly demonstrated as all of creation has witnessed the hypocrisy, the greed and the abuse of power exercised by the Goyish Church!
Yes, it is absolutely true that many Jews allowed the Oral Torah to move them into legalism and away from reliance on the living God (as Rebbe Y'shua laments in the Gospels). For many this remains true today. Certainly at times the Jews were led astray by other gods, by greed and so on. This is a fact of history.
Consider however that in a mere 300 years the Messianic Way allowed itself to be co-opted by a universal Pagan religious system while Judaism, for all its foibles, remains steadfastly monotheistic to this day! Very early in its history the Church allowed its most cherished biblical doctrines and beliefs to be replaced by and merged with Pagan heresies! The Paganized Christian Church adopted every one of its holidays from the Pagan religions! It abandoned the biblical God and His Holy Sabbath. It embraced a parody of the Roman Sun god Sol Invictus and Dionysus and refashioned Rebbe Y'shua as "Jesus" in their likeness (solar halo and all!). Christendom even adopted Sol Invictus' day of worship and abandoned the biblically mandated Shabbat of Adonai observed by our Patriarchs, Matriarchs, by Rebbe Y'shua and his 1st century talmidim. The Church has no room to point judgmental fingers at People Israel!
AND, please don't misunderstand me here, ALL of us stand in opposition to the Will of HaShem! Jew and Goyim alike.
Thankfully for us all, HaShem looks at the heart and accepts all who come to Him in faith and sincerity. However understand that His patience is soon coming to an end! The call will soon go forth to "Come out of her my people!"
It is also vital to understand that unlike the Jews (i.e the remaining Israelite houses of Yehuda and Benyamin) who were never abandoned by God, "the Church" is even now being vomited out of His Mouth, even as the Ten Lost Houses were divorced by HaShem for similar sins:
II Kings 17:18 Therefore Adonai was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of His sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only."The "lost" Ten Houses of Israel will be restored by Moshiach during the final seven year period (Zechariah 8:23; Revelation 7:4-) and the Goyim are even now being invited to enter into fellowship with House of Judah through authentic Messianic Judaism (Revelation 3:20 as we read above). This is the invitation Rebbe Y'shua is extending to you today! Whether or not you will accept is up to you.
Where then is the justification for finger pointing? We are all in desperate need of a divine mercy that none of us deserve.
Consider the Rebbe's teaching concerning the woman caught in the act of adultery. Babylon the Great is known as a harlot, a whore. The divorced ten houses of Israel were said to have gone "awhoring" after other gods (Ezekiel 16:28 ). So who is the woman taken in adultery? The implications are many!
John 8:1 Y'shua went unto the mount of Olives.
2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Y'shua stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Y'shua was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Y'shua had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Y'shua said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.Like this woman, the Wife of HaShem has sinned spiritually. This is true. Like this woman the "Bride of Christ" has gone awhoring with the Nicene Nicolaitans. This is also true. And yet much of the Nicean Church today is standing around ready to stone HaShem's Beloved! But what does the Rebbe say: Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Friends, we know that all have sinned and fallen short of God's righteous requirements (Romans 3:23). Like this woman we ALL deserve to be stoned according to the righteousness of the Law.
However Rav Paul adds this vital point:
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."...Not of works, lest any man should boast."
My dear Messianic and non-Messianic friends listen, Torah observance will not "save" you as some rabbis maintain. Likewise no sacrifice made on your behalf can ever blot away your sins as the Nicean Church claims. Rather each of us stands before HaShem every moment of our lives and He shows mercy upon whom He shows mercy. We know from Scripture and from experience that He is faithful and just to forgive the sins of all who practice teshuvah before Him in faith and sincerity. We know also that our elder brother Cohen Gadol Y'shua is our advocate before the father and that HaShem hears His Son always.
Its time to stop playing church and come to the God of Israel Who alone saves, even as our Rebbe's name proclaims: Salvation is of Adonai.
Adonai alone is worthy and throughout the Times of the Gentiles He has proven conclusively that neither the Jews nor the Goyim deserve His Grace!
But He bestows it anyway!
Out of LOVE.
Throughout the entire span of history and prophecy we return where we began: With God's relationship with His Chosen People and His intention to use them to establish His Kingdom on Earth.
Genesis 12:1 Now HaShem had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.Material life exists to provide us the ground on which to learn and grow in our relationship with the One God. It is only by the Grace of the One that we are free and fulfilled.
And so in the near future as the world embraces the Son of Perdition, as the flames of Armageddon are sparked and fanned...
Remember what Rebbe Y'shua the Anointed of HaShem says to us all!
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock:
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in and we will have fellowship"Those who heed the call of Revelation 3:18-22 and discover the freedom of authentic Messianic Judaism are referred to a Great Multitude of Goyim and as 144,000 Jews, 12,000 from each House of Israel. YOU can be numbered among them. Learn the Truth. It will set you free!
The Apostle John wrote this Revelation of Y'shua the Anointed somewhere around 95 CE. At the time he was a very old man who had witnessed a great many things. As we conclude chapter three his prophecy is only beginning. I hope you will continue reading, watching these videos and sharing your thoughts as we continue.
Until next time my fellow talmidim, Shalom aleikhem! May the Peace of HaShem be yours for all eternity!
