Verses in the Tanach are "official" whereas in the Talmud an author posits something and debate ensues as the sages through the centuries debate the points back and forth. Here is an example that is real: Sanhedrin 97b: ... Rab said: All the predestined dates [for redemption] have passed, and the matter [now] depends only on repentance and good deeds... So, according to this Messiah will ONLY come if the Jews do good deeds. But then we have this reply: R. Eliezer said: if Israel repent, they will be redeemed; if not, they will not be redeemed. Startling! This pretty much says the Remption will never come! Then this reply: R. Joshua said to him, if they do not repent, will they not be redeemed! [i.e. not so] But the Holy One, blessed be He, will set up a king over them, whose decrees shall be as cruel as Haman's, whereby Israel shall engage in repentance, and he will thus bring them back to the right path. This is how Talmud works. Pulling out disjointed comments from Talmud means nothing. It is antisemitic "nonsense." Most modern editions of the Talmud have edited out a lot of this back and forth. For precisely this reason. People who are committed to destroying our people will sink to any level of dishonesty to do it.
