Welcome to AllFaith.com and Beit Emunah's AllFaith Community Worship! We are a community of diverse people from different and unique backgrounds united in the belief that God is ONE and desires us to be of One Spirit.
We honor all faith traditions here. Each of our Sunday gatherings have a different focus. Today we are taking a celebrating life.
In India there is a saying, "Truth, like the lotus, grows in the mire, in places people tend to forget and even avoid. If we have eyes to see and hears to hear we see and hear Truth all around us! Is God real? What's a silly question! The real question is whether we are real. Everything we know, see, and touch, all these things things that seem so important to us right now, will be nothing this time next year, or the year after, or in ten, twenty, fifty years. The 'Ten Thousand Things' are fleeting, but the Holy One is eternal. Six thousand years ago people called out to GOD according to their understandings and they still do: WE called out and WE still do. We are unborn and never ending BECAUSE GOD is Unborn and Never Ending. This is true if we have have faith but this is true even if we don't. With faith we can KNOW God, and Love, and Light, and Hope, and Joy...We Can Do Good John of AllFaith

As Pastor and Author Joel Osteen encourages: “Celebrate life, for it is the ultimate gift we have been given” - Joel Osteen,
However you concieve the Divine One, know that your life was given to you as a gift. Enjoy this amazing gift and celebrate it while you can knowing that while this present form of life is fleeting, the real gift is not! You, the real you, us unborn and undying. So celebrate life in all its many forms and intricacies because there is no one throughout this vast creation exactly like you!
Ralph Waldo Emerson encouraged us that this life, your life, my life, has a purpose. What is that purpose? He teaches us that, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, honorable, compassionate, and to make a difference” AND, when we accomplish this, happiness follows as surely as morning follows the night.
Yes your life has a purpose. This should make you gratfeul and joyous. KNowing that YOU matter, know that your “Life is a celebration, embrace it with open arms and a grateful heart” as taught by the physician and philosopher Debasish Mridha
As we get older time seems to speed up. Remember being a kid and thinking this day, for good and bad, or this summer vacation, or this parental lecture will never end? Now it seems we blink our eyes and Summer becomes winter, becomes autumn and quickly spring until when we blink again and it's summer time! People like Abraham Lincoln understood that, “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” Do sopmething new. Start a hobby, volunteer, read a book, write a poem, tell someone that you and appreciate them... keep putting more life in your years, celebrating the good, celbrating life as it right now, today. Memories of the past can be great, but never stop making memories for your future.
But you may argue, it was easy when I was younger. Perhaps your memory is a bit faulty. You have always faced challenges and problems. Maybe they were the same, maybe they were different, but life's chanllenges are what drives us forward. Learn to overcome and transcend your challenges. Learn through them. Elizabeth Lesser advises, “Choose to celebrate life even in the face of adversity, for it is during challenging times that our true resilience shines.”
This is because, as Richard Carlson says, "Life is a journey, and the key to a happy journey lies in celebrating each step along the way.” It's not about where we're going! If we keep moving forward we'll reach the destination, it's about where we are right now, right here, at THIS place in time.
The past is done and the future is not yet here. “Life is short, and it’s up to you to make it sweet” at Sarah Louise Delany encourages us. Or as Guru Ram Das says, "Be Here Now." We studied his insightful book by that title a while back.
We know this is true. The Jewish teacher Paul tells us that: God says, 'In the time of My favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation (II Corinthians 6:2) and in Pirkei Avot (1:14) it is written, "If I am not for myself, who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?"
Understand, and the Sanatana Dharma teacher Osho said, “Life is a grand celebration, every moment an opportunity to dance.” So dance! What is holding you back? If you can't dance on your feet, then dance within your heart! As adviced in the book of Phillipians (4:4) 'Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!'
Yes, life can be hard, we all know that, but as Søren Kierkegaard says “Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced”
“Don’t wait for the perfect moment, take this moment and make it perfect,” so advises teachers like Zoey Sayward
“Celebrate the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things” – Robert Brault
Because, as Karen Gibbs reminds us, “Life is about creating unforgettable memories and celebrating every chance we get”Spiritual master Mahatria Ra, also known as T.T. Rangarajan, is a famed spiritual leader who focuses on holistic abundance and self-mastery. Let's listen to one of his talks about celebrating life.
