The Seven Periods Continued:
The Period of Sardus: 1520 CE - 1750 CE

3:1 And to the messenger of the congregation in Sardis write: These things says he that has the seven pneumas [ruachs, winds or spirits] of God, and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have a name that you yet live, but you are dead.
2 Be watchful and establish the things that remain but are ready to die: for I have found no works of yours that are perfect before my God.
3 Therefore, remember what you received and heard; keep [those things], and repent. If you do not watch, I will come as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
4 But you have a few people in Sardis who did not defile their garments; they will walk with me in white [robes]; for they are worthy.
5 Those who overcome will be arrayed in white garments, and I will not blot their name out of the Book of Life. I will recite their names before my Father and His angels.
6 Let those with ears hear what the ruach of God [theossays to the congregations.

The Period of Sardus was one of maintenance and the status quo. Certainly, many significant things happened during these years, but none bearing on our discussion here.

The Period of Philadelphia: The Way Sect Seeks to Return: From the First Great Awakening to World War One.

1750 CE - 1917: Eventually, that exciting period known as the Great Awakenings arrived. Volumes have been written about this spiritually exciting time, but I will keep this brief. This spiritual awakening produced several noted Jewish thinkers, Christian evangelists, and religious scholars seeking to restore spirituality and life to the fading West in the face of rising Atheism. It also produced many harsh criticisms of religion, some accurate, some not. Some sought to discredit faith in God through miseducation and philosophy, while others sought to destroy it through films, media, and courtrooms.

Several new denominations and movements formed, including the Ashkenazi-born Reform, Orthodox, and Conservative movements. These irrevocably divided Jews as we have not been since the First Century C.E. Among the Sephardic Jews, no such direct divisions occurred; however, there remains within it a defacto two-tiered mindset along the same lines. Based on sectarian politics and differences in observance levels, methods, and interpretation, Rabbinic Judaism can no longer be considered a united religion. Some Orthodox Jews question whether Reform Jews are still Jews at all.

The Great Awakening-born denominations within Christianity usually claimed they were seeking to reestablish the Second Chapter of Acts Jerusalem sect. Still, they merely reformed the Nicolaitan heresy and established new hierarchies. To be sure, some of the revivalists were charlatans, skillfully taking advantage of a spiritually thirsty public, but many were men and women of profound spiritual awareness and faith. They had merely lost sight of what the Way sect had been and believed. Some, like the Seventh Day Adventists, Church of Christ, and Presbyterians, taught that God had abandoned the Jewish people and transferred the Covenant of Avraham to them. Others, like the Baptists and Methodists, taught that God had extended the status of Choseness to all who would "accept Jesus" as Messiah and God. The result was the same for all who refused, whether Jewish or Gentile. Jews were going to the Greek god Hades for an eternity of torture unless they abandoned the Covenant of our fathers. After the restoration of Israel in 1948, some in the latter group modified their views and acknowledged that God was still working with the Jewish people for His purposes. Some even adopted a two-tier plan of salvation, one for Jews and another, more catholic one, for the rest.

Something was happening spiritually during this period! Millions sensed it. The old world was dying, and a New Secular Order of the Ages (a Novus Ordo Seclorum) was dawning. Some of these new religious forms praised the dawning New World Order (Novus Ordo Mundi), while others railed against it and warned of the foretold coming evil days. And not a few whispered: the Anti-Christ is drawing near! However, his time was not yet ripe.

As in the years following the destruction of Jerusalem's Second Temple, Judaism and Christianity found themselves reinventing their respective faiths regarding the dawning new realities of Secularism and Globalism. Both tended to focus on members of their own and other religions as examples of what was wrong in the world rather than on the positives of what they offered, thus turning more people off to religion. Ironically, this was called the Philadelphia period (i.e., of Brotherly Love).

Early in this Philadelphia period, the First Great Awakening occurred in fledgling America and Europe. This Awakening began in the Dutch Reformed churches of New Jersey circa 1726, soon spread to the Presbyterian and Congregationalist churches of the area, and spread like wildfire. This First Great Awakening reached its zenith in New England in the 1740s. It produced thinkers such as Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758), inspired by people like John Locke (1632-1704), John Wesley (1703-1791), and George Whitfield (1714-1770). These were, by and large, scholarly Christians who opposed the high level of emotionalism typical of the Enlightenment. They sought to establish a more textual-based yet objectively logical foundation for the Christian faith.

A similar awakening spirit established Reform Judaism, with its anti-Torah Trefa Banquet, on July 11, 1883, at the Highland House restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio. The first graduating class of Reform rabbis ate biblically forbidden foods as part of their celebration as a public statement of their rejection of traditional Judaism and biblical authority. They publically rejected the so-called passe rulings of the Torah in favor of Das Aufklärung and Haskalah, the Awakening, as I discuss in my series, The Great Awakenings.

The Orthodox Union of Traditional Synagogues arose in 1898 largely as a rejection of the Reform Movement. Many incorrectly believe "Orthodox Judaism" is the original Judaism, but the earliest known mention of the term "Orthodox Jews" was made in the Berlinische Monatsschrift in 1795. The term "Orthodox Judaism" was not part of common Jewish terminology until the German Enlightenment debates. Originally "Orthodox" was used to reference any Jews who opposed the Enlightenment reforms. At first many traditional Jews rejected the term, saying it sounded too Christian, as in Orthodox Catholic Christianity. So they preferred to be called "Torah-true" or Gesetztreu Jews. Satmar still prefers this title. The German Orthodox leader Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch argued that the implication of the then commonly accepted term Orthodox Judaism was understandable to the public and appropriate. In 1882 Rabbi Azriel Hildesheimer stated that the public now understood that Orthodox and Liberal Judaism were radically different. Traditional Jews should not affix a qualifier to their names. They were the traditional Jews, let the others acknowledge they had abandoned Torah by adding qualifiers like "liberal" or "reform." But by the 1920s, "Orthodox" became commonly accepted throughout Europe, the Americas, and elsewhere for traditional Jews and remained the preferred, albeit reactive, term. Once "Orthodox" became a Jewish movement, its reformers began making it more distinctly anti-reform. Orthodox ceased to mean traditional and came to imply an, at times, cultic nature of exclusionism unknown previously.

Many traditional people, Jews, and Christians during this time believed that the so-called Enlightenment was the emerging darkness of the Man Crueler Than Haman, whom the Christians called the Son of Perdition, in preparation for the coming of global governance—for people of biblical faith and prophetic knowledge, this period of Scientific ascendency heralded the return of the Tower of Babel and the rising deification of humanity. This Nefilim concept of human deification is publically promoted by Soros-backed, Oxford-educated Hebrew University Professor Yuval Noah Harari as Homo Deus. Among many progressive religious leaders of this period came the demand for a scientifically defensible biblical religion: A demand doomed to failure that left most liberal synagogues and churches led by secular educators largely devoid of biblical truth and emunah (real faith in God). Others rejected the secular sciences and modern religious critiques and became classified as "Fundamentalists." Itinerant preachers such as the Reverends Gilbert Tennent, Samuel Davies, Eleazar Wheelock, Samuel Finley, and others traveled throughout the thirteen American colonies, expounding an emotionally charged, biblically concise, and unyielding "American Protestantism." They boldly proclaimed a new breed of religion, born of American experiences that catered to the citizens of "New Zion," as many considered the U.S. during this period. They knew nothing of the Jewish Way sect of Yeshua, so they re-casted the Nicolaitan views and continued promoting them with missionary zeal. For people of faith, it was wonderful; for those without emunah, it looked like the last ditch effort to save a passe and dying superstition.

The Emergence of Secular Humanism and Overt Globalism

The Awakening sparks spread to Virginia and elsewhere in the 1750s but soon ended under the Atheistic onslaught of Babylonian-born Secular Humanism. The new anti-religion of Secular Humanism united with the new "Religious Humanism" of the more educated liberal theologians, Christian and Jewish. These self-described enlightened thinkers united in ridiculing the old traditionalist beliefs of those they scoffed at as "Fundamentalists." As faith in traditional religion waned, the Secular Humanists' myths were advanced in the schools, media, and in some cases, as in the Scopes' Monkey Trials, by the color of law.

As the new Secular Religion grew in power, it increasingly mocked the Torah of HaShem and the New Testament as mythology. Countless Jewish and Christian intellectuals embraced this globalist worldview. These educators sought to replace the biblical "myths" with scientific theory and diverse human philosophies, leaving more people devoid of spiritual foundations. Darwinism convinced the masses that humans are but evolved apes that emerged from blue-green algae by chance, and people began living accordingly. The Nefilim Globalists usurped the government-controlled school systems and brainwashed the children and future generations into accepting the reborn Babylonian system of Nimrod.

Jonathan Edwards considered the Awakening a "surprising work of God." He boldly proclaimed that "Jesus has flung the door of mercy open so that all could enter," a clear and at-the-time bold rejection of Calvinist predestination, which had been so popular and pessimistic! As the Enlightenment pushed forward, Christianity declined, and the masses lost their faith.

But for the evangelists, who were also rejecting Calvinism, these new secular beliefs demanded the "submission of the stubborn human will" and became an important concept in the day's religious life and debates. In clear contradistinction to liberal theology, the evangelists' fiery sermons reflected this. Holiness in all things came to typify this Puritan and neo-Puritan revival. Clear lines were drawn between religious faith and Secularism. Traditional Christians were fighting their religious kin for the heart of Christendom, and they were losing.

According to E.S. Gaustad:

"...the founding of the Separates and the Separate Baptists was the most apparent institutional effect of the [first] Great Awakening in New England." It was by no means the only one, however. By 1755, there were over 125 Separate (or Strict Congregationalist) churches in New England. By 1776 there were over 70 Separate Baptist Churches. Later came the Universalists, Unitarians, Free Will Baptists, Shakers and Quakers, and New Light Theologies (later organized as Edwardsianism, Hopkinsianism, and Consistent Calvinism). The consensus of these movements was [at first] fundamentally Calvinistic, but this view was gradually being rejected in favor of American individualism.

John Calvin was one of the primary 16th-century Protestant Reformers. He was a gifted debater and noted theologian. Unfortunately, like all the others leaving Catholicism then, Calvin continued to embrace the Nicene Creed and other essential Nicolaitan heresies. He did not know any better; few, if any, did. The Catholic (Universal) Church had so successfully subverted the Way of Yeshua that none of these sincere people realized what the founding belief system of the Way Jewish sect had been! These dogmas had so thoroughly been ingrained into the people's minds that few even considered the need to rediscover the Jewish roots of Yeshua's teachings at this time. The reformers did not even consider it. Their rejection of the Vatican overwhelmed their desire for biblical truth. Besides, most Christians of this period were anti-Semites without interest in Jews or their God.

This was especially true for Martin Luther, founder of Lutheranism. In his book, The Jews and Their Lieshe wrote in part:

Therefore be on your guard against the Jews, knowing that wherever they have their synagogues, nothing is found but a den of devils in which sheer self-glory, conceit, lies, blasphemy, and defaming of God and men are practiced most maliciously and vehement his eyes on them.
First, [you should] set fire to their synagogues or schools and bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom so that God might see that we are Christians and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians. For whatever we tolerated in the past unknowingly ­ and I myself was unaware of it ­ will be pardoned by God. But if we, now that we are informed, were to protect and shield such a house for the Jews, existing right before our very nose, in which they lie about, blaspheme, curse, vilify, and defame Christ and us (as was heard above), it would be the same as if we were doing all this and even worse ourselves, as we very well know.

Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed. For they pursue in them the same aims as in their synagogues. Instead, they might be lodged under a roof or in a barn, like the gypsies. This will bring home to them that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God.

Third, I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing, and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them. [sic]

The book continues spewing such hatred in the name of Christianity. Sadly, it reflected a prevalent Christian view of Judaism and the Jews.

The Nicean teachings of John Calvin and Martin Luther profoundly influenced the Reformed Christian Movement. For many years Calvinism was a hallmark of Reform theology. Today, the vast majority of Christians reject Calvinism; many even feel Calvinism is a heretical doctrine.

The distinctive teaching of Calvinism is the doctrine of strict predestination. This belief holds that "before the foundations of the heavens were set in place, God had already chosen those people who would be saved and those who would not." Understand this well: the teaching is not that God, in His foreknowledge, knew who would choose to accept Him and who would not - HaShem knows everything, of course - but rather that God chose whom He would accept and save before the creation of Adam, and, who He would damn to eternal torture. According to Calvinism, God has already condemned to eternal torment and damnation the vast majority of human beings who will ever live, and there is nothing anyone can do about that! The God of Calvinism is a sadistic monster. People have no choice in the matter of their salvation whatsoever. This horrific teaching led millions of Christians to abandon their religion. Many reasoned that if this dogma was true, why bother trying to be good? Genuinely humble people concluded they had no hope of redemption. Calvinism violates everything the Tanach and the New Testament stand for. And yet today, I'm told, Calvinism seems to be reemerging among certain Baptists and other Fundamentalist Christians.

The American-wrought emphasis on individuality

As the 1700s were waning, Calvinism was dying, and the diverse Protestant and heterodox thinkers of the day were developing new religious forms and doctrines. Among the new Nicene Christian groups that arose during this shift away from Calvinism were the Missouri Synod, the Norwegian Evangelical Synod, the Congregation of the United Brethren, the Disciples of Christ, the diverse Millerite sects, and Mormonism (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). Also appearing during this period was Swedenborgianism, Taylorism (or Beecherism), Mesmerism, Owenism, Fourierism, the Oneida Society, the Mennonites (from the Amish Anabaptists), the Moravians, the Seventh Day Baptists, the Six-Principle Baptists, and Dunker Baptists, the Free Will Baptists, the YMCA, and many others.

As for the Jews, most continued observing the traditions, but few understood them. They believed the rabbis were responsible for religious understanding and study, not them. They observed the holidays and ethnic culture handed down to them; they followed the basic rules without knowledge. In Europe, however, something truly amazing was happening. Righteous everyday Jews, not rabbis, were kindling the hearts and emunah of ordinary Jews. A revival occurred through men called the "Baal Shems" or Masters of the Name [of God]. Eventually, an especially anointed man dubbed the Baal Shem Tov (the BESHT) arose among them. Jews from across Europe, especially in the East, were drawn to him. They came to be known as Chasids or Pure Ones. Through the BESHT, they realized that God still cares for ordinary Jews and that academic learning is not required to know and relate with Him. The followers of the BESHT realized that God is accessible to regular people, not just the yeshiva-educated rabbinic minority. This realization rocked the very foundations of the Jewish establishment. As a result, groups of rabbis known as the Mitnagdim or Opposers sought to disempower the Chassids in many, often cruel and anti-Torah ways, but to no avail. The Chasidic Movement of the BESHT and the subsequent groups that followed his death became part of mainstream Judaism, and rabbinic authority began to slip.

So then, among Jews and Christians during this period, individual responsibility and renewed self-worth replaced determinism, predestination, and institutional hierarchies in both religions. The future seemed rosy indeed for the individual-minded!

Once again, among the Christians, this spirit of hope and individualism broke out first among the New England Congregationalists. Renewed revival fires spread far and wide throughout the United States and elsewhere. Free religious thinking was breaking out in all the major denominations to some degree, including even Catholicism. By the mid-19th century, however, individualism was reabsorbed into the predominant religious structures. Once again, the stagnation of traditional Nicene dogma replaced the excitement of discovery, and the spirit of hope and rediscovery once again began to wane. The same happened among the Jews as the new Chassidic sects became sectarian loyalists.

It should be remembered that these flowerings of intellectual and spiritual awakening did not and never do occur in a vacuum. Each appearance of spiritual renewal directly ties to its predecessors' experiences (for good or ill). Such was again the case between the years 1875 and 1914 when the Third Great Awakening occurred.

Note that some authorities do not see a break between the Second and Third Awakening as I list them here. It is semantics. During this Third Great Awakening, the modern religious landscape came into place.

Despite the dehumanizing efforts of the Secular Humanists, this period of renewed hope gradually flowered into the Great Awakening. New teachers arose as renewed hope that the Messianic Kingdom might finally be at hand, which resulted in vibrant Bible study and prayer. Powerful Christian leaders like Ellen White, founder of the Seventh Day Adventists, one of the few literally polytheist Christian denominations, boldly proclaimed that neither she nor her followers would ever taste death! Alas, that was not to be. There were many such Messianic proclaimers, as discussed elsewhere at AllFaith.com in Exile.

Then the Third Great Awakening ended as the first of Yeshua's significant signs that the Times of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24) was ending arrived. The Third Great Awakening was its final gasp. The doctrinal exploration of the late 1800s had been interesting. Still, with the dawn of the final of these seven periods referenced in Yochanan's Revelation, the underlying reality should have been sobering. It should have united the Christians. It should have united the Jews. It should have awakened to action and repentance all people of faith. But instead of promoting teshuvah (repentance), both Jews and Christians further abandoned emunah, motivating faith in God alone. Heaven and Earth shuttered at the realization that global war was mounting for the first time in world history, exactly as Yeshua foretold in Matthew 24:6.

This Great Awakening abruptly ended with the onset of World War One in 1914, the year the J.W. prophet Charles Taze Russell said Jesus would return. He did not return, although some J.W.s believe he did, and currently resides in a penthouse apartment in New York City. The Watchtower Society officially set the date of Jesus' "invisible return" to 1914. The Watchtower literature explained:

"Some persons living A.D. 1914 when the series of foretold events began will also be living when the series ends with Armageddon. All the events will come within the span of one generation" (Watchtower, September 1, 1952)

"Some who saw the events of 1914 will also see the complete destruction of this present wicked world" (Studies in the Scriptures, 1989, pg 200)[sic]

A person born in 1914 is 109 years old as of this writing. Ms. White and her students have long since died (Deuteronomy 13:5).

Yeshua foretold two world wars. He was correct; the various Great Awakening prophets seldom were.

Yeshua's talmidim (students) asked him for signs that would mark when the beginning of the End of the Age was at hand, and he told them:

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Be careful that no one leads you astray.
5 Many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ [i.e., Mashiach ben David], and will lead many astray.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not troubled: for [these things] must come to pass; but the end is not yet.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in diverse places.
8 But all these things are only the beginning of travail.
9 Then will they deliver you up for tribulations, and will kill [many of] you: and all the nations will hate you for my name's sake.
10 Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
11 Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.
12 Because of the increasing iniquity, the love of the many will turn cold.
13 But those who endure to the end will be saved.

With the close of the sixth period referenced by Yochanan and the dawning of the seventh, most prophetically awake Christians felt confident that the biblically foretold Time of Jacob's Trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) had begun. We read of this period:

Jeremiah 30:4 These are the words that Adonai spoke concerning Israel and Judah.
5 For thus says Adonai: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child: why then do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces turned in paleness?
7 Alas! For the great day will dawn, there will be none like it. It will be the time of Jacob's trouble, yet I will rescue him from it.
8 And it will come to pass in that day, says Adonai Sabaoth, that I will break his yoke from your neck, and burst your bonds; and strangers will no more make him their bondman;
9 but they will serve Adonai their God, and David their king, whom I will raise for them.
10 Therefore fear not, O Ya'akov, my servant, says Adonia, neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, see, I will save you from afar, and your children from the land of their captivity; and Ya'akov will return and be quiet and at ease, and none will make him afraid.
11 For I am with you, says Adonai, to save you: for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; instead, I will correct you in measure, and will in not leave you unpunished.

World War One, the treason against the U.S. that occurred with the formation of the Federal Reserve, the issuance of Social Security registration in the 1930s, the Russian Pogroms of 1903-1906, and so on all signaled the beginning of the Times of Ya'akov's Trouble for those with biblical understanding. As 1948 approached, few people understood that God still had big plans for His people Israel. Following Hitler's attempt to genocide the Jews, God reestablished the nation of Israel again! Up seemed like down, and down seemed like up! Nevertheless, what they experienced was only the beginning.

Yochanan was shown the following:

Revelation 3:7 And to the messenger of the congregation in Philadelphia write: These things say he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and none can shut, and that shuts, and none can open:
8 I know your work. Behold, I have set an open door that none can shut before you, but you have a little power. You keep my word and have not denied my name.
9 Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of them that say they are Jews, when they are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10 Because you kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of trial, that [hour] that will come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 I come quickly: hold fast that which you have; let no one take your crown.
12 Thos who overcome will be made a pillar in the temple of my God, and they will go out for there no more. I will write upon them the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name.
13 He that has an ear let him hear what the ruach of God says to the churches.

Those who believe the post-stake Yeshua is presenting this material to Yochanan, as stated at the beginning of the book, must acknowledge that the pronouns used in this section again demonstrate that Yeshua did not consider himself to be God. He constantly praises the God he believes in and serves, the God of Israel (John 20:17). The belief in a triune godhead arose from Pagan Rome and the Vatican's creation of a universal or "catholic" religion. Most ancient religions worship trinities. The Bible is abundantly clear that HaShem is echad, One, and that there is no god with Him (Deuteronomy 32:39). Yeshua and his followers believed this.

During this final period, beginning in the late 1800s, a few groups, like J's Witnesses and their Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, began using versions of the Tetragrammaton (the Four Letter Name of God). Others began using versions of "Yeshua" instead of Jesus. They were all seeking to restore biblical accuracy, but few, other than the J's Witnesses, were willing to throw out the Nicean-Nicolaitan idealogy.

Long ago, the Roman Church changed his name from Yeshua, which generally translates into English as Joshua, meaning "Salvation is from Adonai," to "Iésous," a hybrid Greek/Latin word, meaning "Hail Zeus." The original 1611 King James version uses Iésous since the letter "J" was not yet used in English. Once introduced, Iésous began Je'sus. Presumably, "Yeshua ben Miriam" sounded too Jewish, so the Roman Church Universal renamed him "Iésous," equating him to the god Zeus in Nicolatain fashion. Thus, with the name Jesus, the Universal kirk of Rome was more acceptable to the Pagan cultures." Zeus was the most revered deity in Greek mythology, their god of gods. Now that veneration would be extended to Yeshua.

J's Witnesses founder Charles Taze Russel popularized the mistranslation of the Sacred Name. Others began digging into the past of their religion, seeking to restore the Way movement, but none have succeeded. For most, the hold of the Catholic Nicene and Apostles Creeds was too strong. Most could not escape the pull of the Trinity dogma. Some, like the J.W.'s, discovered the fallacy of the belief but then declared that Jesus was an incarnation of Michael the archangel! All these new emerging religious forms, the Seventh Day Adventists, the J's Witnesses, the LDS Congregation, and others, all claimed to reveal the forgotten truth of the first-century movement. The J.W.'s accurately preached the earthly Kingdom of God rather than the Pagan notion of life in the heavens. They also proclaimed the Oneness of HaShem and rejected the Trinity and the deification of Yeshua. They introduced the Gentile world to HaShem's Holy Name. Like other groups, they have many good points but have yet to achieve the goal of restoring the Jewish Way sect. The Seventh Day Baptists, and a bit later, the Seventh Day Adventists, sought to restore Shabbat as the Holy Day instead of the Pagan Day of the Sun God Sol Invictus, but in other ways maintained the Nicean Creed Nicolaitan dogmas. Various reformers attempted to restore the Derech Yeshua; however, they all failed and ultimately embraced Replacement Theology. They all rejected the Torah and the eternal status of HaShem's Elect people, the Jews.

The Way sect was a Jewish movement. None of them embraced this, including so-called Messianic Judaism. The Messianics are Christians who embrace the Nicene dogmas and only add a thin Hebraic facade to the Nicean dogma. Both Christians and Jews typically reject them as authentic. They claimed to be the Jews, but, as Yochanan wrote, they were not (Revelation 3:9). Fortunately, God's judgments are based on the content of our consciousness, not our external practices alone (I Samuel 16:7).

The Period of the Laodiceans:

Circa 1914 C.E. - the End of the Olam Hazeh

Following the onset of World War One in 1914 - The first "Great War to End All Wars" - everything changed. It was as if the world plunged into barbarism. Humanity had seemingly flipped a switch that could never be unflipped. The declining number of people with emunah, or motivating faith in the One God, knew that until and unless HaShem Himself overrides human free will and resets everything, the path ahead would continue to darken. The spiritual hunger of the 1800s discussed above was replaced as if overnight by the hedonism and abandonment of spiritual truth in the 20th century. After World War One, nothing would ever be the same again. Skepticism had mortally wounded the world's soul. Atheism and faithlessness became the social norm. God allowed these great evils to befall us, so many concluded He must not exist! Either that or He is a cruel master unworthy of human service or love.

"God is dead!" or in German, "Gott ist tot!" Nietzsche declared (but the German writer Heinrich Heine said it first). As a philosopher, it became Nietzsche's mission to disprove God's existence and respond to the dramatic cultural shift that the expression "God is dead" advocates.​ With the same intentions, others, like Madame Blavatsky and Colonel Olcott, declared, "You are God!" as the Tower of Babel rose again stone by stone.

In part because of the open and public expression of human depravity, faith in God, and observance of His moral principles as matters of personal devotion and piety began to wane abruptly into the hedonism of "Roaring" 1920s. The fast expansion of Secular Humanism and Darwinism, typified by the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925, led to the official government rejection of and opposition to the Bible in public schools and spaces. Not surprisingly, spiritual cancers began erupting in the soul of the American people and the world.

Recognizing the symptoms leading inevitably to the collective insanity we are now experiencing, Friedrich Nietzsche wrote in The Gay Science, first published in 1882, that "Gott ist tot !" which is to say, "God is dead!" However, we must not be too harsh on Nietzsche for this observation; he spoke the truth that others knew but feared to name! Most people know the quote but not the context:

God is dead. God remains dead. We have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we not become gods to appear worthy of the deed?

This is precisely what Secular Humanism, the various New Age philosophies, the positive affirmation movement, the so-called sciences, and the Great Reset to Global Paganism all promote. Yuval Noah Harari, a Jew and educated stooge of Devos, declares in his demonic book that homo sapiens must be eliminated and replaced by homo deus: god-men!

The now-destroyed Georgia Guidestones promoted the same wickedness. A bit more gently, the American Jew turned Hindu, Guru Ram Das, advised his followers: "If I say to you, 'I am God,' you will think me mad! However, if I say to you, 'You are God!' you will praise my genius! Oh yes, you are God'!" And they praised his genius.

Another created being once said the same thing long ago as he seduced Adam and Chavah (Eve):

Genesis 3:5 Eat, for God knows that when you partake of this knowledge, your eyes will open, and you will be as God, knowing good and evil.

But most of these emerging would-be god people are but apathetic drones aimlessly obeying their demonic Globalist overlords. Too harsh? Not really.

The final Laodicean prophetic period that brought the first two world wars and introduced and perfected the Bomb is the same that now seeks to deify humanity and replace the God of the Truth with perverse lab-enhanced DNA post-humans. They are rebuilding the Tower of Babel; we are their intended stones. For this reason, they 'cancel' those of us who expose their demonic agenda and speak the truth. This generation and our descendants are truly "wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked," as Yochanan foresaw (Revelation 3: 17). The would-be Nimrods of today are nothing but techno-wizards hiding behind the curtain of Oz. They could easily be deposed, but most of the public is too apathetic and brainwashed to resist.

During these "times of Jacob's troubles" (Jeremiah 30:7), we have, in effect, "killed God" by our lack of emunah or motivating faith, by our embrace of the sciences so-called, and by our contempt for so great a gift of Grace, Life, and Love as the true God has given us! We chose counterfeits, and now they are crumbling. This "killing of God" was an act of highest murder and collective suicide, leading the Laodicean religionists and secularists to the end of the age and the War of Magog, if not now, then certainly soon from all appearances. For those who are awake, not woke, the end of the Olam Hazeh, the fallen world order of recorded history, is looming ever closer. Borrowing a Star Wars phrase, the world has gone to the Dark Side. There is only one way to return to the Light Side: the coming of Mashiach ben Yosef and Mashiach ben David. The damage to the earth and the human consciousness is too extreme for us to repair otherwise.

Even at this late hour, some comparatively few maintain emunah in the One God as a faithful remnant. Out of all the nations, this remnant still exists in some Jewish and Christian communities and other Traditions. A holy remnant continues to look to God alone according to the various levels of their understanding. It is not about the sign over their place of worship but the consciousness underlying their emunah. As Yeshua said, God has many sheep in diverse pastures (John 10:16). We are all the Children of One Parent. As Rebbe Nachman of Breslov foretold, as these days advance, there will be one person of faith here and two there during this period, and finding a true religious scholar will be almost impossible.

Great Atheism is coming to the world as a test from on high. The world's many sins are causing a terrible lack of faith. Happy is the person who stays firm in his emunah in these times.
The fact that I am predicting this will not prevent the increase of Godlessness and confusion. Long ago Daniel and others made it known that this would happen in the days before the Mashiach. "Many will purify themselves and be refined, and make themselves shining white. But the wicked will do evil. and only the wise shall understand" (Daniel 12:10 ).
Knowing that this has already been foretold, it should not be such a great trial for people to remain strong and firm in their faith. But the truth is that even though the prophets made this known long ago, it will still be a great trial. Many will fall, which is why it is written: "The wicked will do evil."
I am revealing this for the sake of the few pure souls who will remain firm in their faith. They will undoubtedly face great battles, even in their minds. But seeing that this was predicted will give them greater strength and encouragement.

There are still people of abiding emunah (motivating active faith); we are of that faithful, often rejected remnant. These few continue to stand as this final prophetic Laodecian period draws to a close. These people are already refusing to bend their knees to the Nephilim, the Raphaim, the Nicolaitans, and their Great Reset to Global Paganism.

And Adonai will be king over all the earth. On that day, Adonai will be One, and His Name One, Zechariah 14:9.

That day is no longer a conspiracy theory; it is now dawning. Even as the majority slumber on, the awakening remnant is abandoning the organized religions and seeking God individually and in small groups. Standing takes courage and wisdom. If one is not resisting the death shots, the gender confusion abominations, and myriad other lies now, how will one ever resist the coming Mark of the Beast when it is released? Ephesians 6:13 advocates: Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." This symbolism is straight out of the Tanach (Joshua 24:15). If not now, when will we stand?

The biblical Book of Job records the nature of the ongoing struggle that forms the heart of human existence. Presented as a case brought before the Heavenly court, the Adversary Heylel, the Shining One, presents this challenge: Would the homo sapien race choose or reject God, given a choice, all other things being equal. In other words, is the world, as sentient and non-sentient beings, better off living in harmony with HaShem's Will or on our own? Would we choose harmony with the Creator or discord and rebellion? As Bob Dylan sang, "You're gonna serve somebody. It might be the Devil, or it might be the Lord, but your gonna serve somebody!" As the final moments of the Olam Hazeh conclude, this celestial court case will be answered once and for all. We will have established the precedent for future accusations. The age-old question: "Why does HaShem allow suffering, sorrow, and rebellion," will be answered conclusively.

The present Laodicean period will end the Times of the Goyim (Luke 21:24). Heylel's Nephilim Globalism will be defeated through the events written in this and the other Jewish books of prophecy.

Historically, most people in the world accept God's Sovereignty to some degree according to their limited understanding. Most people, to some degree, have observed the Natural Noahide Laws according to the Light God and reason have granted them. The problem is not the people; it's the corrupt leaders. As is known: Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely

Nature proclaims God's existence, glory, and goodness; most people have accepted this. All the world depends on nature and the God of nature for survival! It would be insane to reject nature and nature's God. Nevertheless, an evil seed has existed in this world since the days of the Nephilim. They have been working non-stop to lead humanity astray. The times are now changing. Today good is called evil and evil good. Sitting Supreme Court Justices can not even define what a woman or a man is! Our children are taught all manner of confusion and perversions in school. Poisonous DNA-altering toxins are being pumped willingly into the bodies of the deceived masses! As these so-called vaccine therapies continue to alter human DNA, Yuval Harari's vision of a new species may be achieved. Lab-created zombies of homo deus may eventually rise and seek to destroy and replace homo sapiens. Woe to us! We have done this to ourselves through Laodecian apathy.

People in the 20th and 21st centuries seek to divorce themselves ever more completely from nature and nature's God. Modern technologies make it possible to exist almost separate from nature thanks to AI. God's handwork is no longer recognized as the proclamation of His greatness, but as something the techno-gods can exploit and pervert. Nature is seen as a nuisance, as a negative to be overcome. Climate control technologies, communications technologies, agricultural technologies, medical technologies, security technologies, manufactured vaccines to slaughter the unsuspecting - and humanity has become lost in the magic of human knowledge and creativity. Homo deus will become gods divorced from the One True God. Nevertheless, like all the others, these new gods are nothing more than dust, and Adonai is preparing to sweep all the dust in His bin! HaShem and homo sapiens will ultimately prevail.

With the dawn of the 20th century, God, as a concept and a Being, had been declared effectively dead. White lab-coated Priests of Oblivion now offer ridiculous theories that the masses accept with little or no critical thought. Even in India, the most religious country on Earth, Atheism threatens to destroy Bharata Varsa. The traditions of that ancient land have always united the disparate peoples in hope and faith. However, now these traditions are being destroyed by the new gods of the Novus Ordo Seclorum, the promised New Order of the Ages. People everywhere conform to the demonic paradigms of the Great Reset and Secular Humanism to their peril. And not just among the Goyim is this happening!

Today, most Jews are not even convinced that HaShem exists! There are entire movements (denominations) within Judaism that openly question and even reject the authority of the Torah and HaShem, who revealed it! On their websites, major Orthodox organizations like the O.U. and Aish HaTorah now support child sacrifice. Nonetheless, there is still a remnant standing firm. We can now understand the words of Shlomo HaMelech and Paul, who said:

Ecclesiastes 7:20 Surely there is no righteous person upon the earth, one that does good and does not sin.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

The truth of this is proven throughout the Laodicean period! The human-wrought result of this death of religious faith during the Laodicean period has resulted only in the collapse of world culture and well-being. No one can deny the collective evils of the 20th and 21st centuries. The destruction of collective emunah is the cause.

As emunah in HaShem continues to fade, faith in the ancient Baals is on the rise! Islam, the religion of the ancient Baal known as Hubal-Sin, is now the largest single religion on earth (when Catholicism and Protestantism are considered separately). This abomination proliferates throughout the once-Christian West as people look for a religion that still believes in a literal God! Even the direct worship of Molech is back, along with the Church of Satan and many similar dark cults. Likewise, even though as a term we do not hear much about the "New Age Movement" anymore, Davos, the World Economic Forum, Soros' Open Society, and other Globalists embrace its beliefs and paradigms are embraced by everywhere.

And so today, as we rush forward to our mutually assured destruction like moths to the flame, the fastest growing religion on earth is ironically the one that holds, as a fundamental dogma, the need to genocide God's people! Many Christians are even embracing the latest heretical religious fade: Chrislam (the blasphemous merging of Baal worship and Nicean/Nicolaitan religion)!

Yochanan continues:

Revelation 3:14 And to the messenger of the congregation in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:
15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I wish you were cold or hot.
16 But because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
17 Because you say, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and need nothing; and yet do not realize that you are the wretched one, you are miserable and poor and blind and naked:

Note how Yochanan uses the analogy of Gehenna here, but this time with a twist. That which is pure is tossed into the flames of Gehenna, survives, and is purified even more, while the flames consume that which is impure and is no more! Of course, Gehenna is one of the main words translated as Hell in English Bibles. Correctly understanding this word and concept is essential. It is a study we will not delve into here for brevity's sake, but see HERE for more information on this hot topic, so to speak).

The warnings revealed through these verses should shake us to our foundations! Especially now that they are beginning to take place. They should cause us to wake up and stop playing religion and games of self-importance and piety! They should inspire us to seriously study the Torah and prophets to discover the truths of authentic biblical religion as decreed by our Creator! As a result of these revealed truths, we should all cleave to HaShem with everything within us. There is no mediator between HaShem and His children: This includes Chief Rabbis, Popes, rabbis, monks, nuns, imams, priests, and pastors: There are NO MEDIATORS between HaShem and His creation. HaShem is approachable, as He has always been. Those who "claim to be Jews" say, "Look at me! I am rich, and increased with goods, and require nothing," even as their religious empires are crumbling into non-observance and social irrelevance as the enemies of Israel prepare to attack and, they hope, destroy us all!

We need to wake up!

While most people still claimed to believe in "God," as the twentieth century drew to a close, it was clear that "the love of the many was quickly growing cold," as Yeshua foretold in Matthew 24:12. As we move ever closer to the end of the Times of the Goyim (Gentiles – Luke 21:24) Yeshua's warning to those of us living during this period is becoming both more relevant and more ignored.

Here is the Way of Liberation.
Here is the path to freedom.
Here is the Way of Peace for both Jews and non-Jews:

Revelation 3:18 I counsel you to procure (agorazo) from me [i.e., through my Jewish teachings] gold [actual value] refined by fire so that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and the shame of your nakedness [i.e., ungodliness] will not be made public; and eyesalve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.
19 Everyone I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous, therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and fellowship with him, and he with me.
21 To those who overcome, I will permit you to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne.

22 Those with ears let them hear what the ruach of God says to the congregations.

Yeshua, as rebbe of the Way Jewish sect, reveals these things through his talmid (emissary) Yochanan, according to the text. He says that due to the rampant lack of emunah and hypocrisy within this final prophetic period of the Olam Hazeh, HaShem will "vomit" these Laodiceans and their hierarchical Nicolaitan structures from His mouth! After this, HaShem will establish His righteousness according to His determination of our times, to which we can only say Omayn.

As revealed through Prophet Daniel:

Daniel 12:3 They who are wise will shine with the brightness of the firmament [the crystalline dome covering the earth]. They will turn many people to righteousness, as the stars, forever and ever. 4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many will run to and fro, and knowledge will increase.

Indeed, people today run and fro and are increased in knowledge as never before. Since the beginning of the Laodicean period circa 1914, information and knowledge have exploded. With the advent of modern technologies and archeology, with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and related finds, with our increased knowledge of ancient cultures and customs, with near universal education in the West, with the information of the ages at our fingertips via our keyboards, there is no excuse for not rightly understanding the Word of Truth! All who genuinely wish may now rediscover the Jewish Roots of Yeshua and the form of biblical Judaism he espoused, yet precious few are.

Heresies once considered debatable are now seen as demonstratively anti-Torah. Emunah is still required, but clear facts and proofs have never been so readily nor easily accessible to the masses to support biblical faith.

Exactly as Prophet Daniel and others revealed. Exactly as Yochanan reveals in his Revelation.

Those who still embrace the Nicene Nicolaitan heresies do so either because they prefer them to biblical truth or because they lack the interest to read and discover the Scriptures for themselves. Likewise, Rabbinic Jews too often cast these prophecies aside as being "Christian" when they are not. They need to open their eyes to what is happening around us and admit that Rabbinic Judaism has left the derech in exchange for Hellenistic intellectualism and textual enslavement. The Torah is alive. HaShem is alive! We were taken from slavery in Egypt to freedom. The prophecies contained in this work, excised from the obvious Nicolaitan insertions, are happening right before our eyes.

According to the text, the Jew Yeshua, through Yochanan the Jew's pen, declares that the Nicolaitan heresies that usurped the teachings of the Way sect have become completely apostate and beyond redemption! The spirit of Ichabod (ingloriousness) is now descending over the earth. The Ruach of HaShem (Adonai's Spirit Presence) is now abandoning the religious establishments, Jewish and non-Jewish. As this current age concludes, a gentle voice is heard from the Throne of HaShem:

KJV Revelation 18:4 Come forth, my people, out of her! Have no fellowship with her sins, lest you receive of her plagues:
5 for her sins have reached even unto the skies, and God has remembered her iniquities.

What a powerful, all-consuming condemnation this is!
What a powerful, all-consuming command this is!
While we may NOT hear this command with our ears, the things formally hidden are now being made manifest during this time of Great Reset to Paganism.

This is why so many people are abandoning Christianity and Judaism today. People are sensing Ichabod's presence and seeking the God proclaimed in the Torah. Others are choosing to stand in opposition to HaShem. Where are you standing? I remind my Christian friends of Paul's words:

Romans 11:26 All Israel will be saved even as written, There shall come [future tense] out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Ya'akov:
27 This is my covenant unto them when I take away their sins.
28 Concerning the [Way sect], the [Jews] are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the Father's sake.
29 For God does not renounce of His gifts and callings.
30 For as you, in time past, were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,
31 Even so, have these also been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you, they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God has shut up everyone unto disobedience, that He might have mercy upon all.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past tracing out!
34 For who hath known the mind of God? Or who has been His counselor?
35 Or who has first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of Him, and through Him, and unto Him, are all things. To Him alone is the glory forever. Amen.

Both we Rabbinic Jews and the Nicene Nicolaitan Christians have proven ourselves to be unworthy. Only HaShem is faithful and righteous. What He has promised He will accomplish. He declared the coming of Mashiach ben David and the establishment of the Davidic Kingdom, and it will be accomplished as he sees fit, quite possibly in our day. The vomiting out process is underway today. Do not depend on the pastors or the rabbis. Trust only HaShem and His Torah.

For the Kingdom to be established, several significant biblical prophecies must be fulfilled. Rabbi Moses ben Maimon, better known as Maimonides and Rambam, lists the following conditions under which Mashiach will come. The events of the final seven years will bring these conditions into being as we will see as we continue:

• If Israel repents a single day;
• If Israel observed a single Shabbat properly;
• If Israel observed two Shabbats in a row properly;
• In a generation that is totally innocent or totally guilty;
• In a generation that loses all hope;
• In a generation where children are totally disrespectful towards their parents and elders;

In such a generation, Mashiach will come. However, there are other clear conditions. What Yochanan shares in Revelation is harmonious with what the other Jewish prophets tell us. More to the point, they are happening and cannot rationally be denied.

Thus far, we have discussed things past and present. As chapter four begins, Yochanan takes us into the future and what will be.
