Welcome to Thus Says the Prophets!
The Prophecies of Malachy © John of AllFaith*
I originally posted this on November 11, 2012. Considering at that time that according to Islamic Sharia, Pope Francis had formally converted to Islam by publicly reciting the Shahada during his 2012 Visit to the Dome of the Rock. His recital seemed noteworthy at the time that this prophecy might be to be coming to pass. Pope Leo XIV - formerly known as Cardinal Robert Prevost - was confirmed as the new pontiff earlier today (8 May) just weeks after the death of Pope Francis at the age of 88 on Easter Monday (April 22). As I wrote about Francis at the time, time will tell. So too, many are finding the elevation of the firsst American to the Papacy interesting in terms of the prophecy. For one thing, as I have said for many years, I do not see any reference to the United States in any biblical prophecy. This has always led me to assume the US would fall before the End of Days begins, an event that rationally trigger Western supportfor the coming global despot, who should rise from the EU, likely the Haugue. I still believe this is correct.
However consider, If the False Prophet is an American could it be that the US as known won't exist and that the US would become simply an unmentioned part of his domain? Some people are saying this. I'm not convinced, but the possibility is plausible. As with Francis, time will tell.
Skeptics of the prophecy often note that since Francis died and new pope has been elected, Malchy was wrong. BUT since Francis converted to Islam he was no longer the pope in truth, thus making, possibly as a smokescreen, the prophecy remain in play. There have been other confusing period when it was debated who the true pope was. There have at times been two competing popes, one French and one Itallian. Female Popes, etc. The biblical prophecies have always been amazingly accurate but even they are debated, so much more prophecies like Malchys.
We know what the final Pope will be. He will be the False Prophet of John's Revelation, assistant to the Anti-Christ, the One-Like-Haman, the Son of Perdition. He will established universal worship of the global despot, who is not yet recognisably on the world stage. Again, time will tell.
Malchy's 100-year-old prophecy suggests that either Francis (now dead) or the 69-year-old Pope Leo XIV will apparently be the last Bishop of Rome and the coming False Prophet, creator of the foretold world religion and Mark of the Beast.
According to Malachy's text, there would be 112 popes after his lifetime and then a final one, with an ominous title 'Peter the Roman.' "Peter the Roman" seemingly mocking a Roman Nicean Peter holding the throne of the New Testament Peter as Jesus' successor.
The text says that Peter the Roman's reign as pope unfolds in the following manner: "Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge [Rex Mundi] will judge his people. The End."
The prophecy is not conclusive in my opinion. It certainly seems like the prophecies are continuing to fall into place, but like identifying the Mark of Beast, which people once thought refered to a brand, then a tattoo, the the UPC code, then an injection and now commonly to AI... we're not as smart as we'd like to believe! We have warning signs to pay attention to, but even clear prophecies, like the Mark, are not always easy to recognize until they take place.
Beware of the unification of power be it religious or secular. Consider that anyone who wants to control you is by definition your enemy. As the False Prophet arises, whoever he turns out to, Stand firmly and refuse to be assimilated.

His Funeral occurred on 8 April, 2005 when there was a solar eclipse visible in the Americas.267 Benedict XVI (2005-2013) 111 Gloria olivæ
The Benedictine order traditionally said this Pope would come from their order, since a branch of the Benedictine order is called the Olivetans. St Benedict is said to have prophesied that before the end of the world, a member of his order would be Pope and would triumphantly lead the Church in its fight against evil. While the Holy Father chose the name "Benedict", this does not seem enough to fulfil the prophecy. Nor is it clear how Benedict XVI (a Bavarian) is "Glory of the Olives". Since he is said to have remarked in the Conclave after saying he would take the name Benedict that it was partly to honour Benedict XV, a pope of peace and reconciliation, perhaps Benedict XVI will be a peacemaker in the Church or in the World, and thus carry the olive branch.268 Francis I (2013-2025)

(In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge his people. The End.)269 Leo XIV (2025-) 113 First US born Pope, born in Chicago Illinois to parents of Spanish and Franco-Italian descent. As Bishop Prevost he was ordained as a priest for the Order of Saint Augustine in 1982. Served in Latin America as a missionary for much of his carreer. Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni confirmed that choice of the name Leo was a reference to Leo XIII and the social doctrine of the church, in particular the Rerum Novarum encyclical, considered the Catholic Church's first social encyclical. Leo considered a centrist, "progressive" on some topics (imigration, environment, etc) and cconservative" on others (Church doctrine, including gender and sexual identities, ordaining women). As for Globalism, [people who know him say he has "strong inclinations towards a more interconnected and cooperative world."
